The lead ship of the first series of Italian dreadnoughts. In 1930s she was drastically modified getting bigger caliber and longer firing range of main artillery, torpedo defence and higher cruiser speed. This allowed her to remain a formidable opponent for most of battleships-peers.

A battleship of an unusual design, she was made in compliance of contractual limitations. She was armed with 406 mm main battery, concentrated in the three turrets afore. The first battleship of the Royal Navy whose armour was in line with the “all or nothing” scheme.

ex-Nonpareil and ex-Tjerk Hiddes, a British-built N-class destroyer for Netherlands Navy, she was transferred to Indonesia in 1951.

ex-Rezkiy, a Gnevny-class destroyer. She was transferred to the People Republic of China Navy in 1954. She maintained high speed and had powerful artillery of the main caliber for her ship type.

ex-Namikaze, a Minekaze-class destroyer, she was transferred to Republic of China Navy in October 1947.
