One of the most successful and balanced new generation of battleships in the world. It was armed with 380-mm guns, had a high speed, had a powerful reservation and very good anti-torpedo protection. The disadvantages of concentrating the artillery of the main caliber in the bow of the ship were compensated by the advantageous angles of rotation of the guns.
Richelieu's 380mm guns take 30 seconds to reload, thus she had the lowest RoF among all 15-inch-gun battleships of the same tier. But it is compensated by the excellent gun & shell characteristics, so make every shot counts.
In terms of AA, Richelieu's stock hull was equipped with a poor mix of French-made 13.2mm machine guns and 37mm guns. However her upgraded hull comes with a mix of Bofors and Orelikons and has a significant boost in AA defense.

Her Engine Boost consumable is same as the one of Charlie Martel. Nerfed.

Only 1.8 ofσ, Tut, do not know how the actual combat, light from the data to see very general
The Richelieu was an unfinished project; her guns blew up the first time they were fired, and weren't corrected until 1948 – by Bethlehem Steel, in the USA.
Richelieu was refited by Oct. 1943 and joined the war soon after that. Replaced the old dangerous OPfk Mle 1936 shell with American OPfk Mle 1943.
That is to say, Li sister can run 38.4 knots, run Bikirin still fast.
I wonder why would a Battleship ever need a Engine Boost…… Reverse faster for French?
This cannon is faster than 155.
may thoughts exactly. richelieu seems that she can do perfectly without the boost…is this like actual insult from wg to the french? seems like…
The reason for a BB to have Engine Boost? RAMMING SPEED! That's what I'm liable to use it for anyway. It can be surprisingly hard to pull off a good ram and a sudden burst of acceleration could help with that.
It's hard to ram anyone with this nerfed Engine Boost consumable, your max boosted speed is only 34.56 knots now, it's only less than 5 knots faster than other T8 bbs, except your enermy also want to ram with you.
A "surprise ram" would also provide a good chance for your enermy to turn around and escape, because you still need time to speed up anyway.
