0.6.9 update: notice to skin mods usage
According to reports received and our own test results, a large number of skin mods using the content API (of which the resource files are in the "PnFMods" directory) can cause the game to crash, whenever you check the ship in the port or you encounter that ship in the battle.
The common point of these skins that the "wire" part models have been modified, but now I have no idea about how to fix the problem. (Even if I get an idea, it will take much time to update all the skins ...
To minimize the impact on your game experience, we have a temporary solution here. If you still want to use our skin mods, you SHOULD follow these instructions:
- Open the game settings
- Find "Graphics API" in graphic settings
- Select "DirectX 9"
- Confirm and select "restart game now"

This problem is caused by usage of emissive shaders in mfm files. If you create a mod using ModsSDK but don't modify the mfm file this mod will still work under DirectX11
I've already asked the developer team that tries to support ModsAPI and posted them the problem
Behold the supremacy of DX11!
