0.5.12 update #3-British Cruiser, Armor, and more

This update focuses on Royal Navy(RN) cruiser's balancing adjustment, as well as a series of chain changes brought by the new RN cruisers.

• RN Light Cruisers (CL) smokescreen consumable will be replaced by a special engine boost consumable, now's the effects:
  • 15% boost to Maximum speed while enhancing the vessel's ac- and deceleration, last for 120 seconds.
  • Number of chargers: 2/3, Reload time: 180/120 seconds.

• Changes to RN CL's repair party consumables. Now Edinburgh, Neptune, Minotaur are all equipped with repair party. Effect:
  • Repair 8% of total HP per second for 5 seconds. (RN CLs can repair 50% of citadel damage.)
  • # of charges: 2/3, Reload time: 120/80 seconds.

• Changes to AP shells. All tiers except tier 5 (Emerald) will have the HE withdrawn. AP's standard damage will be cut in half while the AP's ricochet angle increases from 45 degrees to 60 degrees and the shell must ricochet at 75 degrees. the minimum penetration required for fuse activation decreased from 25mm to 12mm.
  • Black Swan now uses the Training AP shells (Damage: 450) with increased weight. The shell shares the same ricochet angle with the rest of RN CLs. Maximum range reduced from 8.7km to 7km.
  • Tier 9, Tier 10 (Neptune, Minotaur) add an new AP ammunition. Its muzzle velocity, corresponding to history's test data, is 805m/s. Yet this ammo hasn't been applied into the game.
• RN CLs' armor improvement. Tier 6 and 7 (Leander, Fiji) has their hull armor increase from 13mm to 16mm so that they won't be overmatched by 203mm AP. Tier 8, 9, and 10 (Edinburgh, Neptune, Minotaur) have their hull armor increased from 16mm to 22mm so they can effectively defend against 127mm HE and greatly increase the ricochet chances of 203mm AP.
  • Belfast and Perth only have the upgrading hull effect

Meanwhile, a series changes of armour exist for some ships.

• Some Tier 5-7 Cruiser's hull thickness would be increased to 19mm. (Some ships only enhance the bow and stern shell, for example, Myoko; some of the others, in contrast, will enhance the whole holes, such as Shchors. Enhance of hull thickness can help CA improving the resistance to 203mm AP, as well as the Tier 6,7 CA's resistance to against the Akizuki's 100mm HE. Effected ships are:
  • Kirov, budyonny, Shchors, Molotov (parts of budyonny's armor increased to 20-30mm)
  • Nuremberg, York
  • Pensacola, Indianapolis, Flint, Atlanta (both the 2 latters' hull thickness will be rise to 16mm)
  • Aoba, Myoko.
• Part of Cleveland's 13mm armor reduced to 10MM, but we are unable to determine how such armor will affect.
• Tier 6-10 Destroyer's bow and stern thickness will be decreased. The hull armor within 19-13mm will be decreased to 15-12mm. This changes will help Akizuki's 100mmHE ammunition to against the DD and improve German 105mm/Japanese 100mm secondary batteries' operational effectiveness . Destroyers that are affected:
  • Muzuki, Hatsuharu, Shiratsuyu, Akatsuki, Fubuki, Akizuki, Kagero, yugumo, shimakaze
  • Farragut, Sims, Benson, Loyang, Fletcher, Gearing
  • Ognevoi, Leningrad, Tashkent, Udaloi, Khabarovsk
  • Anshan, Błyskawica
• Aircraft carrier armor minor adjustments, failed to identify the effect of armor adjustment.
• Nagato (Above boiler rooms·domes that declining to both sides) And Arizona (Rudder·Machinery room·Rear armored, core module's lower margin of front and rear) Now remove two pieces of armor
• Friedrich der Große's armor changes: Stern armor increase from 28mm to 30mm, the bow (just speculation, did not identify the armor numbers) increase from 28mm to 30mm
• Montana's bomb deck increase from 29mm to 38mm, so that it can effectively defend against HE from artillery of 220mm and the beneath.Substantially increase chances of Ricochet of 460mm AP in close and medium range.

• Prinz Eugen's new Camouflage is available, price changes, 2000 Gold→3000 gold. Effect: +50% Commander experience, +50% experience, +10% coin income with typically concealment improvement and decreasing enemy accuracy

• Khabarovsk's plug of firing range increase is yet to come back. We don't know who is spreading false information.
