What's different about the fifth season [updates]　

The fifth season of Ranked battles will not differ too much from the fourth season.

You will start with Rank 23. Yet getting up to higher ranks will be easier since we reduced the number of stars you need to acquire before entering next rank.
Different tiers at different ranks. (Rank 23-16 Tier-VI battles, Rank 15-1 Tier VIII battles).
The starting ranks will have more 'safezones' (Rank 16-13 cannot be downgraded)
Rewards are almost identical to last season. Reward of acquiring Rank 6 will be changed from 2,000,000 credits to 6,000,000 credits, while getting Rank 22 will grant you 1,000,000 more credits, as a welcoming gift to new players (a single victory is needed to get this award).
And as usual, each player will have their head start from where they were last season (each rank you get through after the end of the 4th season will turn into one star). For example, a Rank 1 player in the 4th season will automatically get 21 stars and therefore starts at Rank 13 and 0 stars at the beginning of 5th season.
